The results of the study showed that simultaneously, third party funds (DPK), capital adequacy ratio (CAR), non-performing loan (NPL), and Bank Indonesia interest rates (BI Rate) had a significant influence on the profitability of banking companies. In partial analysis, DPK and CAR showed positive and significant impacts on profitability, indicating that the higher the third party funds collected and the better the capital adequacy ratio, the greater the profitability that can be achieved by the bank. Conversely, NPLs showed negative and insignificant influence on profitability, indicating that the existence of problem loans does not have a significant impact on bank profits in the period of study. On the other hand, the BI Rate also had a negative and significant effect, indicating that changes in interest rates can affect bank profits.
