The measurement of sodium serum levels before HAART treatment showed an average of 122.9 mEq/L (range 112-130), whereas after treatment, sodium serum levels increased to 139.4 mEq/L (range 130-148). CD4 cell levels before treatment showed an average of 52.8 cells/mm³ (range 7-89), and after treatment, the average CD4 level increased to 341 cells/mm³ (range 209-482).
