Introduction

This study uses a causal approach with a population consisting of senior auditors, supervisors, managers, and partners who work throughout the KAP in the city of Medan. A purposive sampling technique was used to select 54 auditors as respondents. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis methods.

Results

The results of this study indicate that the five factors - Due Professional Care, Competence, Work Experience, Independence, and Accountability - simultaneously affect the quality of the audit. However, when viewed partially, only due professional care and competencies are proven to have a significant influence on the quality of audit in the Medan City KAP.
