In today's highly competitive business world, employee work performance is a crucial factor that determines the success of a company. PT BRI (Persero) Tbk. Medan Iskandar Muda branch has conducted research to explore the effect of employee motivation and commitment on work performance. This study aims to explain the relationship between these variables and provide insights for the company to improve its human resource management.

Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis was conducted with a descriptive approach and multiple linear regression.

The Effect of Motivation and Commitment on Work Performance

The results of this study showed that both employee motivation and commitment had a positive and significant impact on employee work performance at PT BRI (Persero) Tbk. Medan Iskandar Muda Branch. The coefficient of determination (R²) which reached 0.363 shows that 36.3% of employee work performance can be explained by motivation and commitment. Meanwhile, the Adjusted R Square value of 0.326 shows that 32.6% of the work performance variables can be explained by these two factors, while the remaining 67.4% are influenced by other factors that are not examined in this study.
