The increasing number of visitors to Alam Datuk Beach is a testament to the efforts of the manager to develop tourist attractions and create a welcoming environment for tourists.

However, the question remains as to what factors influence the decisions of tourists to visit Alam Datuk Beach. This study aims to explore the effect of tourism attractions and tourist motivation on the decisions of visiting Alam Datuk Beach. By understanding these factors, the manager of Alam Datuk Beach can develop effective marketing strategies to attract more tourists and increase the popularity of the destination.

Literature Review

Tourism attractions and tourist motivation are two important factors that influence the decisions of tourists to visit a destination. This suggests that the stronger the motivation of tourists to visit, the higher their chances to decide to visit.

Further analysis with the coefficient of determination showed that tourist attractions and tourist motivation had a close relationship with the decision of visiting. The R value was 0.315 (31.5%), which shows a fairly close relationship. The R Square value was 0.099, which shows that 9% of visiting decisions can be explained by tourist attractions and tourist motivation.

Discussion

The findings of this study provide an important picture for the manager of Alam Datuk Beach. The development of tourist attractions and understanding of tourist motivation are the key to increasing tourist visits. Improving the quality of tourist attractions offered, such as natural beauty, facilities, and tourism activities, as well as understanding the motivation of tourists, such as the desire to relax, adventure, or take pictures, will encourage more tourists to visit Alam Datuk Beach.

The development of marketing strategies that are right on target, which considers the factors that influence the decisions of visiting, will be more effective in attracting tourists. Thus, Alam Datuk Beach can continue to develop and become a popular tourist destination in Batubara Regency.

Conclusion

In conclusion, this study has shown that tourism attractions and tourist motivation have a significant influence on the decisions of tourists to visit Alam Datuk Beach. The findings of this study provide an important picture for the manager of Alam Datuk Beach and highlight the need to develop effective marketing strategies that consider the factors that influence the decisions of visiting.

Develop tourist attractions: The manager of Alam Datuk Beach should develop tourist attractions that are interesting and appealing to tourists, such as natural beauty, facilities, and tourism activities.
Understand tourist motivation: The manager of Alam Datuk Beach should understand the motivation of tourists, such as the desire to relax, adventure, or take pictures, and develop marketing strategies that cater to these motivations.
Develop effective marketing strategies: The manager of Alam Datuk Beach should develop marketing strategies that are right on target, which considers the factors that influence the decisions of visiting, such as tourism attractions and tourist motivation.

This study has several limitations that should be noted. Firstly, the sample size was relatively small, which may limit the generalizability of the findings. Secondly, the study only focused on the influence of tourism attractions and tourist motivation on the decisions of visiting Alam Datuk Beach, and did not consider other factors that may influence tourist decisions.
