The Impact of Higher Education on GDP: A Regression Analysis

Higher education has become a crucial component of economic development in many countries. The relationship between higher education and GDP has been a topic of interest for researchers and policymakers alike. In this study, we aim to investigate the impact of higher education on GDP, using a regression analysis framework. We will examine the relationship between expenditure on higher education, enrolment in higher education, and GDP, while controlling for population growth and unemployment.

Higher education has been recognized as a key driver of economic growth and development. It provides individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to participate in the workforce, innovate, and adapt to changing economic conditions. This study uses a regression analysis framework to examine the relationship between higher education and GDP. We have collected data on expenditure on higher education, enrolment in higher education, GDP, population growth, and unemployment for 8 developed (European) and 8 developing (Asian) countries over a period of 10 years.

Independent Variables

Expenditure on Higher Education
