Filtering using Whatman Filter Paper Number 42: This stage involves the use of a filter paper to remove impurities and contaminants from the used cooking oil.
Penetration with 15% NaOH: This stage involves the use of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) to improve the quality of the used cooking oil.

Results

The results of purification of used cooking oil are then used in making solid bath soap.
