The results of characterization show that active charcoal with a 20% KOH activator gives the best performance, with a moisture content of 5.96% and ash content of 6.24%. This indicates that the active charcoal produced has a high surface area and porosity, making it an effective exfoliant.

Formulation of Scrub Cream

All scrub cream preparations tested show homogeneous results and have a type of oil emulsion in water (M/A). The resulting pH range is between 7.0 to 7.1, while the viscosity is in the range of 857.3-1,152 centipoise. This indicates that the scrub cream preparations are stable and have a consistent texture.

Evaluation of Physical Stability

The irritation test shows that the preparation does not cause irritation to the skin. The preference test results also show that the active charcoal concentration of 5% is preferred by the user. Crucit cream preparations proved stable during storage for three months at room temperature.
