The data was analyzed using the product moment formula, the Guilford scale measurement, and the Z formula. The results of the study showed a significant correlation between the development of tourist destination areas and an increase in the income of the local community at Pandan Beach.

Results

The results of the study showed that the development of tourist destination areas has a positive impact on the income of the local community at Pandan Beach. The correlation between the development of tourist destination areas and an increase in the income of the local community was found to be significant, with a value of R = 0.5482, which is higher than the value of the B-Table B (0.1946). This means that tourism development has a positive impact on community income, as evidenced by the increase in production and opening of employment.
