The Relationship Between Modification of Sodium Dialysate Levels with Angle Phase in Regular Hemodialysis Patients: An Experimental Study

Introduction

Patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing regular hemodialysis often experience uncontrolled blood pressure and extracellular fluid. This is caused by the positive balance of sodium and water in the body, which can trigger left ventricular hypertrophy and adversely affect cell integrity. However, statistically no significant differences were found (p = 0.145) between the two phase angle values. This suggests that the modification of sodium dialysate levels does not have a significant impact on cell integrity in regular hemodialysis patients.
