The absorption rate for carbon monoxide (CO) was 36.21 - 97.14%, for carbon dioxide (CO2) was 25.64 - 95.97%, and for hydrocarbons (HC) was 36.47 - 87.87%. The physical and mechanical characteristics of the ceramic showed that it had a mass shrinkage range of 17.77 - 32.10%, a burnt shrinkage range of 1.97 - 4.07%, a ceramic density range of 1.14 - 1.20%, a porosity range of 27.96 - 54.27%, a compressive strength range of 0.98-69.58 MPa, a tensile strength range of 1.49 x 10^-2-4.05 x 10^-2 MPa, and a level of violence range of 87-127 MPa.
