This alarming rate has sparked concerns about the factors contributing to these accidents, with one of the key factors being the driver's self-control. Self-control, as defined by Baumeister, Vohs, and Tice (2007), is a crucial aspect of individual behavior that can be influenced by social values and expectations in society. This study aims to explore the relationship between self-control and two types of driving behavior: prosocial driving behavior and aggressive driving behavior.
