This shows the existence of an incomplete between the values of Islam applied and the behavior of adolescents everyday.

The influence of the mass media seems stronger in determining the lifestyle of adolescents compared to Islamic sharia law. This raises questions about the relevance and suitability of the lifestyle offered by the media for adolescents. However, interestingly, adolescents still show selective abilities in choosing a lifestyle that is in accordance with Islamic sharia teachings. Violations of these teachings have decreased, which showed greater awareness among adolescents.

Correlation analysis using Pearson Product Moment produces a R value of 0.51. Based on the Guilford table, this coefficient shows that there is a significant relationship between the implementation of Islamic sharia law (variable x) and adolescent lifestyle (variable Y).

Conclusion

Although the influence of the implementation of Islamic sharia law on the lifestyle of adolescents in the Gampong Geudubang Java is quite significant, the challenges remain. The influence of a stronger mass media and the presence of violations committed by adolescents show the complexity of the situation encountered. On the one hand, adolescents recognize the importance of Islamic sharia and show pride in their identity. On the other hand, they also miss the freedom to enjoy their teenage years in a reasonable limit.
