The selectivity index obtained by 3.95 shows that EEDK has good selectivity to MCF-7 cells. EEDK and FHDK show anticancer activity by inhibiting the cell cycle in the G0-G1 phase, with cell accumulation values of 63.52% and 62.69% respectively. In addition, both of them are also able to suppress the expression of COX-2 in MCF-7 cells, although it does not cause apoptosis.

Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that ethanol extract and active fractions of Moringa leaves have the potential as an anticancer agent against MCF-7 breast cancer cells.
