IL-6 levels were higher in coffee drinkers (p = 0.01), indicating a significant relationship between plasma caffeine levels and IL-6. On the other hand, IL-8 and TNF-α levels in coffee drinkers showed insignificant results (p = 0.14 and p = 0.48, respectively).
