All variations of the resulting soap are then tested according to SNI 3532: 2016. The best variant of the solid soap produced is then used as a sample to test its ability to eliminate pig DNA residues in human hands through the analysis of the PCR method.

Materials and Methods

The materials used in this study include coconut oil, kaolin, sodium hydroxide (NaOH), and distilled water. Results and Discussion

From the results of the study, an increase in the number of kaolin and the reaction temperature produces solid soap with a higher water content and pH, while free fatty acid content decreases and soap hardness becomes lower. Interestingly, this change does not affect foam stability in soap. The best results are obtained from soap with 15% kaolin at a reaction temperature of 50ºC, which has violent characteristics approaching conventional soap. While soap with 17.5% kaolin at 60ºC shows the characteristics of good water content and attractive organoleptic appearance.

The solid soap formulation containing Kaolin not only succeeded in meeting the SNI 06-3532-2016 standards, but also proved effective in eliminating DNA unclean Mughallazah. This study shows that by utilizing natural ingredients such as coconut oil and kaolin, cleaning products can be produced that not only according to quality requirements, but also have the potential to be used in the purification process in accordance with religious teachings. Innovation in making this soap shows that research based on local resources can produce useful products, especially in the context of unclean cleaning that has certain conditions in Islamic law.
