The same situation also occurred at the Matiti Health Center, Doloksanggul District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency, where of 5,675 PUS and 2,627 KB acceptors, there were only 16 acceptors who chose the Vasectomy method, which was equivalent to 0.44%. The low number of men's participation in this family planning program is a serious challenge that needs to be handled, and can be influenced by various factors.

This study uses a qualitative phenomenological approach, involving in-depth interviews with 16 informants who have undergone vasectomy.
