Methodology

This study used a correlational descriptive approach and SWOT analysis to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of each variable. The population of this study consisted of 101 permanent employees of PT. Medco Geothermal Sarulla. The data were collected through a survey and analyzed using statistical methods.

Results

The results of the study showed that job design has a positive and significant influence on employee engagement. Conversely, job demands have proven to have a negative and significant effect. Meanwhile, other variables such as remuneration, supervisor relationships with coworkers, work environment, as well as career training and development do not show significant effects on employee engagement.
