Multiple linear regression analysis shows that only 36.6% of the independent variables affect employee job satisfaction. The independent variable consists of compensation, work activities, supervision, career promotion, relationships in working groups, and working conditions.

The results showed that simultaneously, all independent variables had an influence on employee job satisfaction. However, when viewed partially, only compensation variables, relationships in the working group, and working conditions that show significant effects. Interestingly, working conditions are the variables that have the most powerful impact in increasing employee job satisfaction.

Meanwhile, supervision actually correlates negatively on job satisfaction. This indicates that supervision that is too strict can reduce employee job satisfaction. Employees tend to feel uncomfortable and depressed if they are always monitored intensively, which can cause them to feel less valued in the work done.

To increase job satisfaction at PT Bank OCBC NISP Tbk Metro Medan, it is essential for management to consider and improve working conditions and create a more flexible supervision system. Fair compensation management and clear promotional opportunities must also be a priority. With these steps, it is expected that the level of employee turnover can be minimized, and employees can be more motivated at work, so that they can contribute better to company performance.
