Introduction

Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is a crucial imaging technology in the field of dentistry, providing accurate three-dimensional radiographic images of hard tissue structures in the mouth. The Faculty of Dentistry, University of North Sumatra, conducted a study to assess the level of knowledge of professional education students regarding CBCT. Only 11.2% of students were classified as good, 21.8% in the category sufficient, while 67.0% had less knowledge. This highlights the need for more attention in the education curriculum to increase students' understanding of this crucial imaging technology.
