In this study, the latitude cut approach was applied to 55 patients undergoing hemodialysis at Adam Malik Hospital Medan, between February and July 2014. The relationship between Lipid and LVMI profiles was analyzed using the Pearson correlation test, while the Mann-Whitney test was used to compare LVMI based on categorical parameters.

In addition, patients who receive ace-inhibitor/ARB show lower LVMI compared to those who do not receive the therapy, with a significant difference (p = 0,0001).
