Therefore, it is essential to understand the factors that influence the purchasing decision of USU economics students when it comes to choosing a notebook, especially Acer products.

The Role of Prices, Quality, and Brand Image in Influencing Purchasing Decisions

This study aims to uncover the effect of three main factors, namely price, quality, and brand image, on the decision to purchase Acer notebooks among USU economics students. Using an explanatory research method, this study analyzes primary and secondary data collected from 95 respondents through accidental sampling techniques. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression and simultaneous and partial tests with the help of SPSS 16.0 for Windows.

The results show that prices, quality, and brand image have a positive and significant influence on the purchasing decision of the Acer notebook.
